If you are a fan of college basketball or just basketball in general, chances are you have been looking forward to the following matchup for quite some time. On Wednesday night the No. 1 Syracuse Orange and the No. 25 Pittsburgh Panthers will meet on the basketball court at the Peterson Events Center in Pittsburgh. The game will be shown live on ESPN for free. However, if you will not have access to ESPN television, you can watch the live stream by clicking here. Tip off for the game is set for 7 PM ET.

The No. 1 Syracuse Orange are the best team in the nation for a reason. They will come in to this matchup with an undefeated overall record of 23-0. They are 10-0 in the ACC conference.

The No. 25 Pittsburgh Panthers are also among the best college basketball teams in the nation. They will take their home court on Wednesday night with an overall record of 20 wins and just four losses. They have eight wins and three losses in the ACC.

The No. 1 Orange may be undefeated, but they know they are not invincible. They have been in their fair share of tough games thus far this season and they know this will be another one.

"Every game we have in this league is difficult," coach Jim Boeheim said. "We've been in tough games. We know it will be tough. We like to run, but people are going to do what they've been doing. We can't force tempo if someone wants to do this (slow the pace)."

As for the Panthers, they have played down to their level of competition in some games. They know they must become more consistent in order to contend for a championship.

"You don't want to lose to teams you're supposed to beat," Lamar Patterson said. "This team just figured out a way to grind it out and that shows big growth. That will be helpful down the line once it is tournament time."

If we were putting money on this game we would put it all on the Syracuse Orange. Although both teams are great and will be forces come March Madness, we have a hard time imagining the Orange losing this game. With that said, the Pittsburgh Panthers have a very underrated basketball team and they could put themselves on the map with a win in this basketball game.

Regardless of which team wins the game tonight, this is definitely one of those basketball games that nobody should want to miss. If you love college basketball, you should love watching this game.
