Pablo Escobar is dead but co-executive producer Eric Newman said there are a lot stories to be told about the cartel in Colombia. This is the reason why Netflix decided renewed TV series Narcos for its third and fourth seasons, four days after the release of the 10-episode Narcos Season 2.

Colombian drug lord and the leader of the biggest drug syndicate, the Medellín Cartel, Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) has met his end during the finale of Narcos Season 2. Yet, as Javier Peña (Pedro Pascal) learned from the "interview," there's an emerging power after Escobar's death and the agency knows Peña knew all of them.

Narcos New Narrator, New Cartel, New Drug Lord

Boyd Holbrook, who played the role as DEA agent Steve Murphy, was the main protagonist of Narcos. While most of the story revolves around Escobar, the story is told in the first and third-person accounts. Murphy has successfully guided viewers all throughout the two seasons with his unique, yet uncanny narration.

But with Escobar dead and Peña closely involved in the imminent war against an emerging drug Cartel after Medellín, are we going to hear a new narrator's voice on Narcos Season 3? Will Peña emerge as the main protagonist?

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Newman mentioned something that would tickle Narcos viewers. "I love working with Pedro Pascal, so nothing would make me happier than to be back in business with him in some way," Newman said.

In some way, that's more telling as far as what Peña had done during the first two seasons. And if you happen to follow closely especially Season 2, you know how deep Peña got involved with the newest evil in town -- the Cali Cartel.

And we have already met the big boss of the Cali Cartel. He's no other than the mysterious Gilberto Rodríguez Orejuela, played by Damian Alcazar. What would be his "contribution" for Narcos Season 3 and 4, we'll bring it to you, next.
