'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 59, 60 Spoilers, Air Date: Zamasu to Kill Gowasu, Black Goku Identity Revealed?
While eager fans of Dragon Ball Super are quite in a stir at this point after the announced one-week delay for the episode 59 of the anime title, the production crew behind the show are not temporarily leaving its audiences without something to talk about for the time being.
They're leaving their fans a preview for the upcoming episode, involving Zamasu and his master, Gowasu, as well as Goku and the gang. Titled "Protect Kaioshin Gowasu! Destroy Zamasu!," episode 59 is very telling of what would be the potential event that will occur at Dragon Ball Super's Universe 10: Zamasu, the Kai apprentice, is likely to eliminate his master and it is Goku and his company's task to prevent it from happening.
Based on the preview that was shown, there are likely two ways for this of ever happening. Zamasu, as his master's tea maker, could likely use poison to kill his master as shown in the video of Gowasu spilling his tea and his apprentice smirking afterwards. It could also be more overt as Zamasu to physically assault Gowasu as seen on the latter part of the preview.
In episode 60, this time coming from a leak, there it was shown of Beerus personally killing Zamasu. This may imply that Zamasu himself killed his master and is the reason for Goku's team to retaliate as a result, killing him in the end.
Meanwhile, the previous episode of Dragon Ball Super shed a little bit of clarity as to the possible identity of 'Black Goku,' albeit only a strong speculation to both Son Goku and Whis for now. The character who himself calls as "Son Goku," but Bulma instead referred to as "Black Goku" due to his overall darker tone from the original Goku, is as a result of Zamasu's wish towards the Divine (Yellow) Dragon asking a copy of Goku. As to who Black Goku really is, what is his purpose, and how he came to be, future episodes will likely reveal.
