Some NBA personalites share their reactions to the fatal shooting of unarmed African-American man Terence Crutcher.

The said incident happened in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Tuesday. According to multiple reports, the 40-year-old man began with two anonymous 911 calls. Police then released recordings of the calls wherein two women were heard reporting an abandoned vehicle along North 36th Street, near North Lewis Avenue.

"Somebody left their vehicle running in the middle of the street with their doors wide open. The doors are open, the vehicle is still running. It's an SUV. It's in the middle of the street, it's blocking traffic," one of the women callers said.

Officers then arrived at the scene, where they saw Crutcher and began questioning him, first about the vehicle and whether or not it belonged to him. Crutcher allegedly gave no response, but did comply whenever he was told to put his outs out of his pocket, then up in the air. But when officers told Crutcher to get on his knees, the latter allegedly refused, and instead walked towards the vehicle.

A video of the incident was caught, where in Crutcher would later be seen falling to the ground. An officer was visibly heard on video, saying he thought the man "may have just been tasered."

A female officer was then heard screaming that shots have been fired. Tulsa Police chief Chuck Jordan later revealed that there was no gun in the car and Crutcher was unarmed. "I'm going to tell you right here now: There was no gun on the suspect or in the suspect's vehicle," Jordan said.

The killing of Crutcher has sparked an outrage among citizens, as the number of gun violence involving African-Americans continue to grow. Some NBA personalities like Chris Paul, Dwyane Wade, and Russell Westbrook have condemned the act through social media posts as compiled by Bleacher Report.
