Apple has recently launched the MacOS Sierra and this new operating system has a cool feature that users are familiar with, Siri. In addition to that there are several other features that will make it easier and more convenient to use your MacBook.

But before you download the MacOS Sierra, Apple said that you should know first the year of your Mac, because not all Macs are created equal. According to CNET, Mac products that were released in 2009 or earlier won't be able to accommodate the MacOS Sierra so find out how old your MacBook is.

With Siri making its way to your desktop there's no limit to what you can do with your MacBook or any of your Mac gadgets. Everybody clearly knows what Siri is capable of doing. If you're looking for a nice place to eat just talk to your iPhone and ask Siri where the nearest five-star restaurant is.

If you want to know the screening time of the latest blockbuster, just ask Siri when it will be shown in your local theater. All of that and a lot more can happen on your desktop when you download the MacOS Sierra.

According to PCMag, one of the great features of the MacOS Sierra is its interconnectivity with fellow Apple users. This makes it easier for you if you're planning a surprise party for your dad and you want your siblings to help out but want to be discreet about it.

Users can share notes with other Apple users by simply clicking the Share button in the Notes section. Once that happens, anyone you shared your notes with can easily read and edit them.

Also, the iCloud feature of the MacOS Sierra enables you to automatically store your data from your desktop or documents folder to all your Apple devices making it easier for you to access them wherever you are. But according to PCMag, this feature won't be available until next year.

Another cool feature of the new OS is that you can unlock your Mac if you're wearing an Apple Watch and you're near it. All in all the MacOS Sierra is a great tool for Apple users.
