Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update for Samsung Galaxy S6, Note 5, Note 4 Confirmed?
Android Nougat may be the most recently released Android version, but there are still a lot of users that haven't even updated to Android Marshmallow yet. This is no longer a shocking news for Android users, as it is completely normal to wait for a long time before getting an update. Samsung's past flagship devices are already getting the Marshmallow update.
According to Gottabemobile, it is still uncertain which of all the mobile phones will receive the Marshmallow update. However, Samsung phones that are currently in line include the Galaxy S6, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Note 4, and more.
Android Marshmallow Update 2016 Roll Out To Galaxy S6 Series
The Marshmallow update is already rolling out to the Samsung S6, S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus in South Korea. For the S6 devices in other countries, the update is also gradually rolling out.
Sprint is currently shipping Marshmallow to the S6 series through a huge 1GB update that brings in tons of enhancements and bug fixes. Verizon, on the other hand, has already released the Marshmallow update to the S6 series and is currently rolling out a new one to fix bugs present in the original update. T-Mobile and AT&T are also reportedly rolling out the update to their users.
For Canada, Telus and Bell's users were reportedly getting the said update to their Galaxy S6 Edge Plus as well. VideoTron and Eastlink are also providing the update to their S6 and S6 Edge users.
For the Australian Market, Vodafone has rolled out the Marshmallow update to the S6 Edge Plus a few months ago and is now making the update available to the S6 and S6 Edge. Telstra and Optus are also giving out the update to their S6 series users.
Android Marshmallow Update 2016 Roll Out To Galaxy Note 5 And Note 4
Galaxy Note 5 from all around the globe is now receiving the Android Marshmallow update. Furthermore, according to Verizon, they have also shipped an update to its users to resolve some minor issues.
Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T are also rolling out Marshmallow to its Note users. For Canada and Australia, the said update has already been released to Note 5 users of Telstra, Vodafone, Bell and Telus.
For the Note 4, the Marshmallow update is also being shipped right now. US carriers are already pushing the update to their users including AT&T, T-Mobile and more. Canadian and Australian markets are also receiving the same update for the Note 4, with Rogers confirming its rollout to its users.
