If having a game inspired by highly acclaimed game titles like the Legend of Zelda and The Legend of Mana is not good enough, then maybe having ported the same game to Sony's handheld console may be is. In fact, the said game, Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas, will be making its way to the PlayStation Vita soon.

Although Destructoid did not claim the release concrete as of this point, there is, however, a proof that gives truth to the notion. Coming from a teaser tweet featuring the game "running" on a PlayStation Vita platform based on the official Twitter account of FDG Entertainment, the reality to the idea of the game making another port is very telling.

As it appears, the decision to likely port the game to the Vita is a likely response of the development studio to Oceanhorn: Monsters of Uncharted Seas, Cornfox and Bros, to PlayStation Vita fans who have been requesting the game.

Originally released as an Apple mobile game (iOS) in November 2013, the game also managed to make its way to Windows PC almost two years after when it was released on March 2015. This was then followed by another port, this time, to the Mac OSX platform a year or so after in May 2016 and yet another again recently in Sept. 2016 when the game was officially released on both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

The game follows the story of a young man who went to a journey towards the islands of the Uncharted Seas using only his missing father's left notebook and necklace as clues to his rescue. Along the way, the hero learns more about the kingdom he traverses, encounters monsters and fights them, do some fishing, and ultimately, fighting the legendary monster itself, Oceanhorn.

Meanwhile, while PlayStation Vita owners are still eagerly waiting for the arrival of the game in their handheld console, the people behind the development of Oceanhorn: Masters of the Uncharted Seas are already busy in developing its sequel, Siliconera reported.
