Old Xbox One Kinect Bundle Just Got a Price Cut; Here's by How Much [VIDEO]
With the revamped version of the old Xbox One model now taking a spotlight from its former self (Xbox One S), the old version does not only make a step back as a result, it also is getting a steep price cut in the used market.
Interested gamers who would not mind getting a rather inferior hardware in comparison to Xbox One S can now get an old Xbox One Kinect bundle for as low as $190 at Groupon. Looking at the same bundle's price last year, which whops at a $500 price tag, getting the same bundle now at Groupon would mean a savings of as much as $310, a saving that can buy you the PlayStation 4 Slim Uncharted Bundle as well should you consider.
Although posted at a price tag of $219.99 Groupon for unwary consumers, wiser consumers can lower the price to $190 when they use the promo code "FIRST" during checkout. This code will significantly lower the price of the unit to $189.99 or $190 by a very small margin.
But as the code only works for consumers who have a new account, existing registered members at Groupon can still avail of the same promo by making an alternative and new account. All the system asks (or rather, tricked about) is for old and existing registered consumers to make a new account to qualify for the validity of the code.
Apart from the Kinect add-on that will come with the bundle, consumers who avail of the sale at Groupon will also get a free copy of Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition, which includes a Spartan-themed SteelBook case and physical figure of the Guardians model. This bundled game alone as well as the figurine that comes with it can net you $25 at the street market.
However, it is worth noting that the unit you would be buying at Groupon are refurbished by Microsoft but is nonetheless fully working and comes with a 90-day manufacturer warranty, Siliconera reported.
