Jane the Virgin Season 3: Are You Team Michael or Team Rafael?
Jane the Virgin Season 2 finale ended with a cliff-hanger. Jane and Michael finally got married. However, later that night Michael ended up getting shot and the viewers are left with the question as to whether he will survive or not.
Season three premiere episode tackles what happened to Michael and how Jane and her family cope up with the incident. Aside from the result of that shooting incident it has already been preconceived that it would be a tear-jerking episode.
Prior to the premiere this Monday, fan have been bugging one another as to whether Jane's new husband is going to die, if he deserves it and if Jane should have been with Rafael. Scouring online already one can observe several Team Michael and Team Rafael fighting it over about who deserves Jane and why. Unsurprisingly, there is also a great number of Team Jane.
Several reasons have been given and according to some Fusion staffers, who are Team Rafael because Rafael is the epitome of "bad boy gone good", he is the mature or grown up relationship. On the other hand, Michael is only the one for the starter relationship. Another reason is simply because Michael's time is over (ha!)
Meanwhile, Team Michael on the other hand argues that Michael and Jane's relationship which was born out of circumstance is exciting, they have so much history together. Michael according to their arguments also understands and supports Jane.
Team Jane who by the way includes Rafael actor Justin Baldoni as reported by E! News earlier is with Team Jane. Jane deserves happiness. She needs to be pulled out into her greatness and in the process she needs someone who is good.
Jane the Virgin airs on The CW every Mondays at 9 pm. The story revolves Jane, a Latina religious girl who gets pregnant via artificial insemination by mistake. It also revolvers around her relationship between her son's father Rafael and her first love/fiancé Michael.
The show just premiered its third season this Monday, Oct. 17. It opened up with Jane and her whole family in the hospital scene awaiting news of Michael's fate. The episode also contains a "looking back" snippets from the couple's early days of romance according to E! News.
