'Destiny' News: Here Are The Details On The Upcoming Update
"Destiny" is getting an update this Tuesday and based on the reports about the upgrade, players will get an action-packed expansion that is bound to test their skills. Also, the upcoming upgrade will provide players more incentive to play better because it will offer some great rewards as well.
According to Cinema Blend, the upcoming update to "Destiny" will come with a Heroic Mode for the Wrath of the Machine Raid. The site said that players will experience a much tougher game to play because the update will upgrade the skills and power of the players' enemies.
Cinema Blend said that the enemies in Wrath of the Machine will get "boosters," which essentially make it harder for them to be eliminated. Business Insider shared some details on the Wrath of the Machine feature and they said that it's a six-person raid wherein the players have to prevent the "SIVA" from destroying everything.
According to the site, the SIVA is a highly advanced form of technology, probably an AI, and it is being used by the "Fallen," which "Destiny" players are familiar with if they have played through the "Rise of Iron" campaign.
Both Business Insider and Cinema Blend say that the Wrath of the Machine is very difficult to go through but the latter said players need not worry about finishing the campaign because Bungie provided a helping hand in the update.
In Bungie's website they announced that the update will increase the maximum light level of the players' Guardians. They said that after the update players will have a 400 light level for their Guardians, which means that they can level up their weapons and accessories so that they stand a better chance of fighting against beefed up enemies.
Business Insider provided the schedule for the release of the update and according to them the 2.4.1 update will be released at 10 a.m. PT on October 18. But they also said that the Wrath of the Machine Heroic mode won't be accessible until 2 p.m. PT.
