UFC Fight Night 102 fight card, rumors, speculations, bouts and updates for 'Lewis vs Abdurakhimov' on Dec. 9 in Albany
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) will dish out a one-of-a-kind Friday night mixed martial arts (MMA) on FOX Sports 1 by virtue of staging the UFC Fight Night 102 at the Times Union Center in Albany, New York on Dec. 9.
The Albany fight card features the explosive heavyweight match between Derrick Lewis and Shamil Abdurakhimov which also serve as the co-main event.
Lewis who is ranked tenth in the promotion will attempt to ride on the momentum it has built when he lock horns with equally tough Abdurakhimov. Lewis, who totes a UFC win-loss record of 7-2, won six of his seven UFC victories via TKO or KO. Abdurakhimov is still fresh from its split decision triumph over Walt Harris a few weeks ago in Portland.
The other co-main event will pit Anthony Hamilton against the fast-rising prospect Francis Ngannou.
Hamilton has just recently eked out a crisp knockout win over Damian Grabowski at the UFC 201 in Atlanta and will be attempting to register his first back-to-back win in the promotion.
