Rockstar confirms Red Dead Redemption 2 for Fall 2017, to unveil trailer this Week!
Die-hard fans of the popular video game Red Dead Redemption have something to celebrate about. This comes after its game developer Rockstar Games has officially announced this week that a sequel or the Red Dead Redemption 2 will soon to be released in fall 2017.
Rockstar said the upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 will be rolled out in select gaming consoles such as PlayStation 4 and Xbox One respectively, Gamespot reported on Wednesday. A trailer of the game is slated to be aired on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 11 a.m Eastern Standard Time.
In a press statement, Rockstar has described the Red Dead Redemption 2 as "is an epic tale of life in America's unforgiving heartland. The game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand-new online multiplayer experience."
As of press time, Rockstar has yet to announce the hardware requirements and gameplay of Red Dead Redemption 2. Avid players are expecting that Rockstar's upcoming game would give them a fresh and unique gaming experience beyond the game's multiplayer component.
"With Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world. We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we've learned making games," Sam Houser, founder of Rockstar Games said as quoted saying in the report.
Rockstar has released the first version of Red Dead Redemption back in 2010 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 except in PC gaming platforms. For the game's upcoming sequel, the game developer, however, did not explain further if Red Dead Redemption 2 will have a separate release for PC.
Forbes reported that Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption 2 is expected to feature a single player component and a multiplayer with online integration. The game was developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption.
