NFL 2016: LOOK Who's Coming Back At Seattle's Seahawks On Week 13!
There will be several Seattle Seahawks' players who were listed questionable-to-play on Sunday's game over Carolina Panthers in Week 13.
According to CBS Sports, they are linebacker Brock Coyle, tight end Luke Willson, defensive backs Earl Thomas and DeShawn Shead, running back Troymaine Pope, center Justin Britt and defensive linemen Michael Bennett and Damonte Moore
Head coach Peter Carroll named every injured starter when he was asked which players could return in Week 13. Brock Coyle wasn't mentioned by Carroll which means that the Montana product will be not be playing again for at least another week.
On the other hand, Luke Willson was diagnosed with a sprained knee last Sunday but Carroll said that they don't think that it was bad. Carroll commented that the tight end, who already missed 4 games this season because of knee issues, may not miss that much time.
There are players which listed questionable but could still get a chance to play on week 13 and Earl Thomas was one of them. Although he missed his first game last Sunday and was expected to miss more than two games, his participation in practice this week will be the basis of his potential availability.
Carroll said on Seahawks website that Thomas ran really hard and had a good workout. He also said, "We'll have to see as we get through the week. Shead was at about that level (Friday), so DeShawn looks like he's ahead."
DeShawn Shead was also ruled out last Sunday because of a hamstring injury he also gained against the Eagles in week 11. He still had a chance to play on week 13.
Troymaine Pope was also a candidate to play against the Panthers after suffering from an ankle injury and Carroll did mention that Pope was working hard from it and making a really good recovery. He added, "He shocked the trainers that he has been able to bounce back as he has, so he has a chance."
Damontre Moore has also a chance to play this week after missing their previous game because of a foot injury. Carroll said that Moore got stepped on and it results into a pretty nasty contusion that just kind of blew his foot up.
Carroll continued regarding on Moore, "He's still struggling with it right now. He didn't break anything or strain anything, but his foot really blew up this week, so we'll just have to wait and see if he'll be all right this week. He has a chance."
Carroll mentioned that he visited Michael Benneth and he thinks he's on. Carroll also said, " We've got to get all the clearance from the doctors, but the trainers think he's in good shape and ready to go, so we're counting on him playing. He's very positive about it, he's really looking forward to getting back."
Lastly, the Seahawks also anticipated Justin Britt to be back. Britt was in uniform in Tampa Bay and available if Joey Hunt had gone down but he was unable to practice all week.
