Euro Truck Simulator 2 ‘Vive La France’ DLC Expands Delivery Services To France
The "Euro Truck Simulator 2" is getting another expansion and it will be involving France. The trucking business is now going to drive itself towards the lovely European country. The new downloadable content which arrives next week will connect the rest of Europe to France. It will also expand the map and will show details of the real locations reflected on the map.
SCS Software announced this Monday that the new expansion Vive La France will make its debut on Steam. It is a massive expansion as the new "Euro Truck Simulator 2" DLC brings a lot more upgrades than expected. The first trailer of "Euro Truck Simulator 2" Vive la France says that the expansion will add 15 new cities for players to visit.
Aside from the cities, there are also rural French villages plus more than 20,000 kilometers of new roads across the French countryside that can be explored, as per iDigital Times . Imagine how much exploring that will be? Apparently, the new DLC also sees famous landmarks, more local industries in need of shipping services to work for, new industries including nuclear plants, new types of cargo, plus new forest ecosystems and better vegetation.
It appears SCS made sure that "Euro Truck Simulator 2" has many eye candies in the game. There are also replicates of the country's tollgate system (how detailed!) that needs to be noted of when hauling cargos to far locations. The new Vive la France expansion will be arriving on Steam on Dec. 5 for $19, PC Gamer noted.
"Euro Truck Simulator 2" is a vehicle simulation game created by SCS Software for Linux and Microsoft Windows in 2013 while 2015 for MacOS X. It is a direct sequel of the Euro Truck Simulator released in 2008 as well as the second installment of the Truck Simulator series. Players are given the option to drive one of the articulated trucks across the game's version of Europe.
They can choose their Headquarters' location in any of the available cities. "Euro Truck Simulator 2" starts with the player as an employee of a delivery company needs to complete Quick jobs, jobs that involve hired drivers making deliveries. Being employed by a company sees all the truck and expenses covered. As the game progresses and the player earn money, they can then afford to buy their own trucks.
Eventually either the player keeps on saving money or takes a bank loan to have his own home garage and upgrade or purchase new trucks. The player can then expand his garage and ultimately hire drivers to take deliveries as well.
