NBA Trade Rumors: Nerlens Noel Wants Out Of 76ers? Brandon Knight Going To The Cavs?
Is it true that Nerlens Noel is moving past the Philadelphia 76ers and Brandon Knight is transferring to the Cleveland Cavaliers?
Noel joined the 2013 NBA Draft and joined the New Orleans Pelicans as the 6th draft in the same year. But after being drafted, he was traded right away to the Philadelphia 76ers as an exchange for guard Jrue Holiday.
Since then, Noel has been with the 76ers but now, reports are saying that he wants out from the team. The 76ers have three young players working as center including Joel Embiid and Jahlil Okafor. The players are showing great potential being young and according to head coach Brett Brown, it is hard to play them all.
Brown said via Bleacher Report that it is going to be hard. "You can talk about playing two of those guys together to free things up."
Since all players are best in the center position, thus one would need to go and Noel is reportedly the man for it.
On the other hand, we have Brandon Knight. Knight joined the 2011 NBA Draft and was selected by the Detroit Pistons with the 8th overall pick. A year after he was traded off to the Milwaukee Bucks together with Khris Middleton and Viacheslav Kravtsov.
But Knights did not stay long on the Bucks fence as he was once more traded to the Phoenix Suns til now as rumors are swirling that he is going to the Cavaliers.
Base on the report by Headlines and Global News, Brandon Knight is struggling with the very competitive western conference team. Knight is averaging 12.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 17 games for the Suns this season. His minutes went down from 36.0 to 25.0 minutes this season. His field goal percentage (38.4 percent) and his three-point percentage (31.1 percent) were also down from 41.5 percent and 34.2 percent.
Knight is a great backup for Kyrie Irving and in exchange, the Cavs can trade in Iman Shumpert and Chris Andersen.
