CS GO ‘Modders’ Adds Weather Patterns; Updates Brings Gloves And More!
"Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" is having some changes and it will include weather changes and decorative gloves. After four years of existing, the game is bound to have changes and improvements that will make players be more in love with the game.
One of the latest updates of CS GO has just arrived this week. There are a few tweaks here and there which will delight the lovers of this game. The updates were announced through the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" blog. Modders also added something that will make the game a bit more interesting. Below is the broken down latest updates we have gathered so far.
Interchangeable Weather Patterns
It has been attempted before but there was no success until recently. However, that is changing as the "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" is finally having varying weather patterns which are thanks to modders Lewis Palfrey and Luke Millanta. The de-dust2_w introduces the changing weather to one of the most popular maps, dust2 and also extends to its arenas Cache, Mirage, and Overpass as per PC Gamer.
Furthermore, the description of the Steam Workshop states that there's a pool of ten different weather patterns. One of which is selected at the start of each game round. The idea Millanta said came up to him in August however he needed the help of someone who is better in map making. He managed to convince Palfrey to get onboard his idea and tada here is the result of that nice team up.
The latest update now brings Glove Cases into the shooting game. According to PCGamesN, they will contain some of the 17 new community-designed weapon finishes as standard loots. There are also 24 all-new gloves that are tagged as special items added in, which is notable as the previous cases do not allow it.
Although the odds of getting such a rare item is next to impossible and based on luck for most, at least with it being included in the loots meant a chance on getting it. Who knows right? Anything can happen at least you have the knowledge of it being within arm's reach.
Radical Music Box
There are new StatTrak music kits to replace the game's music available. It introduces a music selection from several artists like Beartooth, Twin Atlantic, and Hundredth. There are at least seven new kits so just check it out.
Steam Group Lobbies
Players can now view and join these lobbies which are created by members of Steam Groups that you currently belong to. It can be found on the Steam Groups tab by the main menu, next to the friend list.
Of course, the update doesn't end there. There are a lot more but most of it deals with several bug fixes and other map details enhancements. Unnecessary annoying details were removed and as far as we know the map looks better now. You can check the patch notes for more details.
