Los Angeles Clippers vs. Cleveland Cavaliers: Live Stream, Preview, Prediction, Broadcast Time
Defending champions Cleveland Cavaliers are hoping to bounce back from their recent loss as they take on the Los Angeles Clippers next. LeBron James and company will be hosting the Clippers on Thursday at the Quicken Loans Arena. Tip-off time is scheduled at 8 p.m. ET.
Both teams are entering the upcoming contest coming from previous losses. The Clippers experienced their third consecutive defeat on Tuesday against the Brooklyn Nets, with the game ending in overtime with a final score of 127-122.
Nets shooting guard Sean Kilpatrick scored a career-high 38 points, 31 of which he tallied during the fourth period alone. He also grabbed 14 rebounds and shot 41 percent from the field.
The Clippers, meanwhile, squandered an 18-point lead. And to make matters worse, head coach Doc Rivers was ejected from the game with 18 seconds left in overtime, when he picked up two straight technical fouls.
The Cavaliers, meanwhile, lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in their second consecutive game on the road on Tuesday, November 29. Small forward Giannis Antetokounmpo tied his own career-high game, once again scoring 34 points to go along with 12 rebounds, five assists and five steals. Power forward Jabari Parker was the next top contributor with 18 points, four rebounds and two steals.
On the other hand, the Cavaliers pointed at unnecessary turnovers as the reason for their loss. 2016 NBA Finals MVP LeBron James scored 22 points, four rebounds and four assists, but committed seven errors in the process. These blunders are what he deemed as carelessness on his part.
"You can't simulate how long they are in the passing lanes. But four of my seven (turnovers) were unforced and that's careless," James said via ESPN.com.
Given their desire to make up for their losses, expect a competitive game between the two squads. But the Cavaliers would likely come out as the victors, as they have been able to bounce back better from defeats this season so far. Fans can catch the action through live stream via NBA League Pass.
