NBA Trade Rumors: DeMarcus Cousins Assembling Kentucky Wildcats Connection In Sacramento? John Wall, Eric Bledsoe Being Wooed
The NBA trade rumor mill has been filled with potential trade scenarios for DeMarcus Cousins. However, team owner Vivek Ranadive has made it clear that he has no plans to trade “Boogie” until his contract expires.
Many are under the impression that Cousins will eventually be traded or leave Sacramento. But the latest rant from the temperamental big man could steer the roadmap of the Kings to a new direction. Much of this came about following the recent Kings vs. Wizards match, ESPN reported. This is if rumors are true that John Wall and Eric Bledsoe are being wooed to Sacramento.
If it does happen, it accounts for a Kentucky reunion for the three. Cousins, Wall and Bledsoe were teammates in Kentucky and apparently this is something that could keep “Boogie” in Sacramento. Is Ranadive listening?
Obviously, DeMarus Cousins has been talking to John Wall and Eric Bledsoe. Wall is an established star with the Washington Wizards, while Eric Bledsoe is the same over in Phoenix. With Wall and Bledsoe landmarks for their respective teams, it will be interesting how a reunion between the three Kentucky Wildcats is possible.
Wall’s name has been tossed in trade rumors due to redundancy of roles in Washington, same with Bledsoe in Phoenix. But will their respective teams really give them up?
Such may be plausible only if the Wizards and the Suns get a player off equal or better value. Looking at the Kings roster right now, it may not be a simple one-for-one transaction. But will Ranadive go to that extent just to keep Cousins in tow?
Just several days ago, Ranadive reiterated that he has no plans to trade Cousins, Complex Sports reported. This is despite the fact that the team has been riding on the shoulders of the 26-year-old all-star with no significant breakthrough.
