'Pokemon Sun and Moon' EV Training Guide: Best Locations For SOS Battle
There are a few alterations when it comes to EV Training in "Pokémon Sun and Moon." With "Pokémon X and Y," you can simply check the bottom screen when you are in Super Training. In the new "Pokémon Sun and Moon," you will be taken to a graph that shows your stats.
There are sure ways to boost your EVs like buying the vitamins or train passively, but these are only good when you have enough time and money to spare. The best way to EV train in "Pokémon Sun and Moon" is to participate in SOS Battles.
Given that, there are a few things to consider before the battle begins and it involves having a game plan. The first thing you have to keep in mind is to have a high-level Pokémon that can knock out wild ones. This way, you can get closer to your goal, which is to weaken a Pokémon with False Swipe.
As per Trainer Tower, the best places for "Pokémon Sun and Moon" SOS battle are Poni Island, Melemele Island, Akala Island, Ula'ula Island, and east of Hano Grand Resort.
Crabrawler is all around the Alola region. The best place to battle with this Pokémon is at any Berry tree in the Alola region.
There is a 70 percent chance to see Petilil and get a special attack on Poni Island. The recommended place is the bush ambush on Poni plains. There is more chance to see Wailmer as it only dwells in the wilds and sometimes in Surfing ambush. However, you cannot encounter Wailmer until you reach level 40.
The jellyfish type Tentacool can be found at the Hano Beach and Surfing ambush which is on the east side of the Hano Grand resort. The resort is the recommended place to battle this one once you reach level 21.
Water bird Pelipper, the Pokémon that is both a water and flying type, can be found on Route 16 of Ula'ula Island. In Akala Island, there are many Pokémon like Psyduck that is best found on the Brooklet Hill on West of Route 5. In Route 4 by level 11, you will find Lillipup, Pikipek, Mudbray, Yungoos and Grubbin.
