Gamers who are seeking to get a new update for upcoming video games "Spider-Man" and "God of War" will not get any as game developers decided to skip this weekend's PlayStation Experience. The event which will be held Dec. 2 and 3 will feature some of the most anticipated video games for 2017.

"Spider-Man" No Show at PlayStation Experience 2016

Developer Insomniac Games recently took to Twitter their message to fans and others waiting in line that they will not attend PSX 2016. In fact, they will not even attend The Game slated today, the first day of December.

Developed for PlayStation 4, game developer Insomniac Games said that the open-world video game "Spider-Man" based on Marvel Comics superhero of the same name. As reported by GameSpot.com, "Spider-Man" which is only its working title and has no release date yet, will bring the iconic web slinger's complete original story.

What gamers could expect is that the Peter Parker in the movies will not be the same Peter Parker in the game. As the report suggested, Spidey will be more experienced and "more masterful at fighting crime" in the game set of course, in New York. Answering questions as to why they decided not to participate in this edition of PlayStation Experience, Insomniac Games said that would rather focus on working hard to deliver the game.

"God of War" Also No Show on PSX

"God of War" game director Cory Barlog also announced via Twitter that they decided not to go on PlayStation Experience. But he promised that they will release 'something really awesome when it is ready'.
