NBA Trade Rumors: John Wall, Bradley Beal Do Not See Eye To Eye; Wall Moving To Boston?
Rumor has it that the Boston Celtics are interested in getting Washington guard John Wall. It can be remembered that Both Celtics star Demarcus Cousins and Wall played for the University of Kentucky in 2009 to 2010 and both also forgo their final three seasons of collegiate eligibility in order to join the 2010 NBA Draft.
The story of Wall moving to another team started when he said that he and his team mate Bradley Beal are not seeing things in the same way inside the court. Often times, when two great players are colliding, usually one of them will be traded off. So if both parties will not have a concrete resolution on their differences then surely one of them is going to back out.
However, the differences between both parties seemed to have vanished when the Wizards and Phoenix Suns faced each other,
Washington Post reported that Beal had a career-high 42 points on 14-for-22 shooting and it was through the help of Wall. Beal said, "John just kept calling plays for me. They just kept coming to me. I just stayed aggressive. The basket just felt like it was an ocean."
Besides Beal, Wall also talked about their good team up during the said game. Wall said he was not making shots.
He added, "[Markieff Morris] was kind of out for a stretch and losing Otto [Porter] was kind of different, but [Beal] was just hot. There are times when a guy is on a roll and he's keeping us in the game. You try to find him as much as possible without wearing him out."
It seems the dispute between these players is now over. Will the rumor of Wall being traded to Boston also die down? We would have to wait and see in the coming months.
