Los Angeles Lakers vs. Toronto Raptors: Live Stream, Preview, Prediction, Broadcast Time
The Los Angeles Lakers are looking to further improve their standing at the Western Conference division rankings as they take on the Toronto Raptors next. The Raptors will be hosting the game from their home court at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto on Friday at 7:30 p.m. ET.
Toronto is currently on a four-game winning streak, with their last game against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. The contest ended with a final score of 120-105, marking their second consecutive win on the road, as of late.
Point guard Kyle Lowry piled in the most points with a total of 29 to go along with three rebounds and eight assists. Shooting guard DeMar DeRozan was the second highest contributor with 24 points, nine rebounds and six assists.
The Lakers, meanwhile, are heading into the said contest coming off a win against the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. Through last-minute surge, the Purple and Gold team edged the home team with a final score of 96-90.
Power forward Julius Randle, who provided the heroics late in the game, finished with 13 points to go along with 20 rebounds, two assists and two steals. Veteran forward Luol Deng meanwhile, added ten points along with eight rebounds and two steals, as they hold on to the number nine spot at the standings.
Head coach Luke Walton was rightfully pleased with how his men played. Particularly, he commended the team for playing well, despite being in tremendous pressure.
"Our guys have proven that when their backs are against the wall they can step up for a challenge. They did it tonight. That's a great win against a very talented team," Walton said via ESPN.com.
The Raptors are on a roll, and their impressive performances could carry over and lead them to another victory. But do not expect for the Lakers to just bow out and not give up a fight, and it could be expected to be another hard-fought game for both teams.
