NBA News: LOOK Who Wins The Kia NBA Western And Eastern Conference Players Of The Month!

The Kia NBA Western and Eastern Conference Player of the Month were awarded to Oklahoma City Thunder's Russell Westbrook and Cleveland Cavaliers Lebron James respectively for games they played in October and November.

According to NBA, Russell Westbrook was named Western Conference Player of the Month as he ranks second in NBA scoring and averages 31.2 points, 11.3 assists and 10.5 rebounds per game. Westbrook is becoming a triple-double machine as he finishes a triple-double performance through 20 games helping the Thunders to be in the fifth rank out of top eight teams in the Western Conference division.

Westbrook is the second player in the NBA history to score at least 500 points, 200 rebounds and 200 assists through 20 games. The first player to do that was Oscar Robertson who reached those number during the 1961-62 NBA season. 

Westbrook recorded nine triple-doubles including one for straight games to close the month which matched the output of the entire league combined.

These are the remarkable numbers of Westbrook in their game in the past two months:

Oct. 28 win over Phoenix Suns : Scored 51 points, grabbing 13 rebounds with 10 assists.

Nov. 25 win over Denver Nuggets: Registered 36 points, 17 assists, 11 rebounds.

Nov. 30 win over Washington Wizards: Recorded 35 points, 14 rebounds, 11 assists.

On the other hand, Lebron James was the Eastern Conference Player of the Month with his averages of 23.5 points, 9.3 assists and 8.1 rebounds per contest. He shot 49.8 percent from the field and 36.2 percent from three-point range as he helped the Cleveland Cavaliers to take the no. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference division.

James became the youngest player to reach the 27,000-point mark and only needs a single assist to take over the 16th place on the all-time list. James finished this month with three triple-doubles and putting up at least 10 assists in seven games. 

These are James' impressive numbers he logged in the stat sheet last two months.

Oct. 25 win over New York Knicks: Finished with 19 points, 14 assists and 11 rebounds.

Nov. 15 win over Toronto Raptors: Collected 28 points, 14 assists and 9 rebounds.

Nov. 23 win over Portland Trail Blazers: Logged 31 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds.

Westbrook and James defeated Player of the Month nominees Kemba Walker,Jimmy Butler, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Kevin Love, Mike Conley, Marc Gasol, Blake Griffin, Chris Paul, Hassan Whiteside, Carmelo Anthony Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, Damian Lillard,Kristaps Porzingis, DeMarcus Cousins, DeMarcus Cousins and Kawhi Leonard.
