‘The Elder Scrolls 6’ Release Date, Latest News & Update: ‘Fallout 4 VR’ May Push Sixth Installment Beyond 2019
Bethesda is swamped with various game projects, mostly tied up to added content and enhanced visualizations. Could this eventually become a reason to delay work on “The Elder Scrolls 6”?
Right now, Bethesda is working on improving “The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim Special Edition.” The remastered piece has offered gamers with better visualization, though game performance and some bugs have spoiled its release.
Aside from that, Bethesda is believed to be working on the full VR version of “Fallout 4.” The initiative is a new dish on the end of the game company, something they promise will more than purely releasing a VR version. Like “The Elder Scrolls 6,” however, there is no official time on when this would be out for gamers, Neurogadget reported.
The only thing certain is that Bethesda will roll out “Fallout 4 VR” ahead of “The Elder Scrolls 6.” A successful release could ramp up expectations for TES 6, with reference to virtual reality tech. But with no estimated time (for now), there is a chance that the waiting could affect release dates of other game titles.
A logical date to expect “The Elder Scrolls 6” is 2019, the conservative time if the schedule of release of Bethesda games is to be followed. But what if game developers stumble along the way?
“Skyrim Special Edition” could be singled out as an example. Despite improved graphics, the expected performance issues cropped up. Bugs also showed and now Bethesda finds itself doing damage control.
The exact same scenario could happen to “Fallout 4 VR.” Considering it is a new technology being embraced by Bethesda, working on that could take its toll and steal some time away from “The Elder Scrolls 6” development.
As mentioned on Game and Guide, the bar has been set on graphics quality and gameplay. “Fallout 4 VR” and perhaps “The Elder Scrolls 6” will be affected, hopefully performing smoothly by the time they are ready for release.
