Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite News Update And Rumors: Game Developer to Add a Powerful Villain from Capcom Side
The game developer of the crossover game between Marvel Comics and Capcom, which will be the sixth entry for this series, is reportedly adding a villain to the roster of Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite. Who is it, no one yetl knows, but one thing's for certain, this villain will be coming from the Capcom side.
NeoGAF.com forum member Ryce who was the first to reveal the Marvel vs Capcom Infinite 2v2 system way before it was officially announced by the game developer, has made a new revelation right before the New Year started. And this has something to do with the game's roster.
"I just heard about a really surprising (and awesome) addition to the Capcom side," Ryce revealed. "The animators deserve a raise for getting this character into the game. The roster is going to be so sick, you guys."
So who is this character from Capcom who will be joining Captain America, Captain Marvel, Iron Man, Mega Man X, Morrigan and Ryu? Here's what Ryce shared:
"I know that if I was in everyone else's shoes and it's been a month since new information was revealed I'd take any semblance of a hint I could get. To me, the hype train is half the fun of a new MvC coming out. It's hard hearing something cool about one of my favorite series and keeping it completely secret. I promised not to reveal the character by name or the IP that he or she hails from, but here's a hint: the character is a villain. I know Capcom has lots of interesting and obscure villains, but that's all I can say without giving too much away."
But while it was a very interesting revelation, there are dozens of Capcom villains. So which one is it?
Anyways, Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows this year, though there's no definite date so far. One good thing though, more and more trailers are being released. This would only mean that the game itself is already complete, and the game developer is just upping the hype and waiting for the right moment.
