Stephen Hawking just turned 75 years old last Sunday, January 8. He is a famous physicist, and now the longest survivor of Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Stephen Hawking's new birthday quotes and facts for 2017 have been revealed.

Stephen Hawking is the longest ever survivor of ALS. He was diagnosed more than a half-century ago and was given 10 years to live from the time he was diagnosed. He has since been in a wheelchair and only communicates through computerized voice system. However, Stephen Hawking has surpassed the years left for him and achieved so much in life.

According to the Hawking site, he is the author of A Brief History of Time, which became an international bestseller. Hawking is now a member of the US National Academy of Science and Royal Society. He is now regarded as one of the most brilliant theoretical physicists since Albert Einstein. Yahoo News has reported British theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking has celebrated his 75th birthday on Sunday, January 8.

Stephen Hawking went on to see "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" in Cambridge, England on Thursday to mark his birthday. Daily Mail has reported that the renowned physicists was spotted at 3:00 pm showing of the film at the Light Cinema. He's apparently a devoted Star Wars fan.
