WWE Rumors: Finn Balor Could Unite With Seth Rollins to Take on Triple H and His Heel Faction
Former WWE Universal champion Finn Balor is finally healthy after more than six months on the sidelines recovering from a shoulder injury. The latest WWE rumors implied that Balor could have a role in the Seth Rollins-Triple H feud moving forward.
"The Demon" underwent shoulder surgery in late August and he was cleared to return this March. He wrestled his first match at a WWE Live Event in Buffalo, New York in a Six-Man Tag Team Match. He teamed up with Chris Jericho and Sami Zayn to take on Triple H, Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe.
According to Cageside Seats, WWE is reportedly looking to introduce a new monster heel stable led by Triple H with Owens and Joe as his protégés. Seeds of the potential stable have been planted both on television and live events.
Although it is not clear if the stable is going to be introduced before WrestleMania 33, the feud between Triple and Seth Rollins could continue after the big event. Rollins' status for WrestleMania is still up in the air and WWE might just opt for storyline progress rather than a big match.
With Triple H, Owens and Joe overpowering Rollins, it is expected that Chris Jericho will get involved. But who could be the third man to match the new monster heels stable? Sami Zayn is not a bad choice, but Finn Balor has more star power than him.
Ryan Dilbert of Bleacher Report believes that the WWE should unite Balor and Seth Rollins to take on the new stable. It will surely work since the two superstars along with Jericho are among the fan favorites.
However, Dilbert also suggested that Triple H could instead bring Balor to his group to form an even bigger stable. He pointed out that "The Game" recently quoted the word nightmare and it could be connected to Balor's "Demon" gimmick.
Nevertheless, these are just pure speculations at the moment and nothing has been confirmed. The WWE has three more weeks to finalize plans for WrestleMania 33 and it will be a mistake if they do not give Finn Balor a role at the event.
