'Dead by Daylight' Adds New Playable Character From 'Left 4 Dead': Bill To Give More Protection & Recovery
The hit horror game of survival, "Dead by Daylight" is getting a new playable character that will surely get recognized by many gamers. Bill, the bearded Vietnam veteran from "Left 4 Dead" will be part of the free "Left Behind" DLC.
The gray-haired Vietnam vet Bill is commonly known for his part in "Left 4 Dead 2" and his escapade won't stop there as he will join as one of "Dead by Daylight's" survivor. This has been possible, as Polygon reported, as part of a partnership with publisher Starbreeze Studios, Valve, and developer Behaviour Interactive.
The game was a sequel for "Left 4 Dead's" "The Sacrifice," the downloadable add-on where Bill spared himself to save the other survivors. Bill's playable character in "Dead by Daylight" is not the only "Left 4 Dead" souvenir as the game will also feature the horror-survival game's inspired costumes.
With this, the Vietnam vet is though to be an amazing character with his unique special skills. Bill's character was created to "represent very well what Bill is all about," Dead by Daylight producer Mathieu Cote says.
He was described as "tough, gritty guy who never gives up." As a gamer of the asymmetric survival horror video game, gamers should expect Bill as a game changer. Engadget even reported the three perks that gamers should expect with Bill now that he's a part of "Dead by Daylight."
First, the grizzled veteran will give them extra protection and at the same time, will allow player have a quicker recovery in case they were hit. Gamers will also help the last survivor to repair the generators swiftly, therefore, the newly added character adds more strategy to the game.
