The Brooklyn Nets are interested in signing CSKA Moscow star point guard Milos Teodosic when he becomes a free agent after the end of the current Euroleague season. If the Nets sign Teodosic, he can form a tremendous backcourt tandem with Jeremy Lin.

Nets general manager Sean Marks, head coach Kenny Atkinson and several team scouts will visit Moscow on Thursday to meet with team owner Mikhail Prokhorov. They are also going to watch Teodosic play against Boskonia.

The Nets are going to be watching the 30-year-old point guard who some analysts think as the best passer in the world today. ESPN's Frank Fraschilla believes he fits well with Lin and the Nets' offense because it's about pacing and spacing.

"He is one of the premier pick-and-roll players in the world. I could see him in Kenny's system, understands the Euro game, pacing, spacing. Offensively, he's the best passer in the world, from a purely offensive standpoint," Franschillia told the New York Post.

Lin is open to playing with Teodosic and he trusts the Nets front office and coaching staff's decisions for next season. He noted that he still wants to play as the team's point guard but he is also open to playing shooting guard if needed to.

The 28-year-old point guard helped the Nets in a lot of ways after the All-Star break when he was finally free from injuries. He led the Nets to an 11-13 record in the final two months of the season but the Nets still need a lot of help next season.

If the Nets end up signing Teodosic, he could play alongside Lin in the starting lineup. Lin has experience playing as the combo guard when he was part of the Charlotte Hornets, per Today's Fastbreak. He had success playing with Kemba Walker as they helped the Hornets reach the playoffs and they were even a win away from the advancing to the second round last year.

The presence of Lin and Teodosic will give the Nets a couple of playmakers who can create their own shots. They can also penetrate or create off the dribble while also having the ability to slow the ball down. Teodosic is a good outside shooter while Lin continues to develop his stroke.
