WWE Rumors: The Shield Reuniting or Feuding With Each Other Towards the End of the Year
All three members of The Shield are on the same show and it was purposely done by the WWE. According to the latest WWE rumors, the company wants to reunite or get a program out of the three members of The Shield.
As recapped by WWE.com, Dean Ambrose was moved from SmackDown Live to Monday Night Raw during the Superstar Shake-Up. Seth Rollins was almost moved from Raw to SmackDown Live, while Roman Reigns was rumored to be getting traded for A.J. Styles.
However, the WWE decided to let Rollins and Reigns stay on Monday Night Raw to keep the door for a reunion by The Shield open, per Sportskeeda. It is also noted that the reunion is not a sure thing and the WWE could use the fact that the three members are on Raw for a program later this year.
Ambrose has been rumored for a heel turn and he could feud with either Rollins or Reigns. "The Lunatic" vs. "The Architect" is not new, but they will have different roles, which make it fresh. Ambrose vs. Reigns is something new since they were portrayed as best friends on WWE television.
It should be noted that these are just pure speculations at the moment and plans could easily change. As of this moment, each three former members of The Shield are embroiled in their own respective feuds. Ambrose is the Intercontinental champion and he started a program with The Miz.
Rollins, on the other hand, will face Samoa Joe at Payback. It is just a continuation of their feud earlier this year with Joe playing the fact that he injured Rollins' knee. The program could last longer since Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will surely want revenge.
Finally, Reigns is up against Braun Strowman and they will meet at Payback in a potential Ambulance Match. The WWE universe is excited about the potential reunion by The Shield. However, they should not get their hopes up because it's only been months since they reunited at the Tribute to the Troops last December.
