‘The Sims 4’ Updates: What To Expect From Family Game Pack, Fitness Stuff Pack
Electronic Arts life simulation game "The Sims 4" is set to unveil its two new DLCs that will introduce new objects and activities for Sim characters. Avid gamers can expect to see new ways that family Sims can bond with each other, as well as keep fit, in the upcoming Family and Fitness-themed packs.
The second quarterly teaser clip for "The Sims 4," as obtained by the fansite SimsVIP, gave gamers a quick look at some of the new items that will be released through a game pack and a stuff pack. Here are some of the gameplay elements that players can find in the upcoming DLCs:
Family Game Pack
The upcoming "The Sims 4" Family-themed DLC will mark the fifth game pack that will be released for the said life simulation game. Details about the said game pack have been sparse, however, the teaser clip hinted of new art projects for kiddie Sims through the game's drawing table.
Teen Sims will also get a new study table for Teen Sims along with colorful wall decorative items, as shown in said "The Sims 4" teaser clip. At this time, it is still unclear if Parent Sims and Toddlers will have a new play interaction aside from the existing piggyback flying movement.
Moreover, new clothing items and hairstyles will also be included in the upcoming "The Sims 4" DLC such as a curly medium length hair option for female Sims. It appears that female Child Sims will also get a new hairstyle that has a ribbon-like headband.
Fitness Stuff Pack
For the upcoming "The Sims 4" Fitness-themed stuff pack, avid gamers can look forward to getting new fitness equipment. Similar to the Family DLC, the upcoming eleventh stuff pack will also include new clothing items to keep Sims fashionable while working out.
New painting options, as well as a gymnastics vault-like table, will also be included in the said "The Sims 4" stuff pack. However, it is still unsure if game developers will introduce new fitness activities apart from jogging, push-ups, sit-ups and boxing which are already available in the game.
In other news, an ongoing "The Sims 4" event introduced Plant Sims to the said gaming title. Gamers who were able to collect six Magic Beans can grow a mystical portal tree where Sims can find rare items and a Forbidden Fruit.
Sim characters who will eat the Forbidden Fruit will turn into a Plant Sim for five Sim days, according to an announcement posted on "The Sims 4" website. During the said leafy state, Sims will get a boost in gardening skills and will have slightly different needs from regular Sims.
"The Sims 4" Plant Sim challenge will run until May 4. Meanwhile, the upcoming Family and Fitness DLCs will be released in spring and summer 2017, respectively.
