Is "Kingdom Hearts 3" Going To Xbox One?
The Xbox One logo was recently removed from the "Kingdom Hearts 3" website, which led some fans to think it had been canceled. It was especially worrying after "Kingdom Hearts" HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue failed to appear on Xbox One.
Fortunately, according to Express, it doesn't seem to be the case, after Square Enix revealed that the logo was removed in error. Furthermore, the ICXM points out that Square Enix has now fixed the error and assured fans that "Kingdom Hearts 3" definitely is coming to Xbox One.
When Will "Kingdom Hearts 3" Be Released?
Meanwhile, according to the latest update from director Tetsuya Nomura, he said: "While I can't make a sweeping statement because the development process is different from what we've done so far, there are still worlds untouched,"
"Production is progressing on unannounced worlds, in a state that we cannot show them off. In terms of the state of development, there is still some way to go," added Nomura.
Even though Nomura refrained from providing the release information of the "Kingdom Hearts 3," he did state that he intends to showcase the team's progress on the game in 2017. This would also suggest that the game will not be available before the end of the year.
What's The "Kingdom Hearts 3" Plot?
The story of the "Kingdom Hearts 3" takes place after the events of "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance." It also starts with King Mickey and Riku hunting after the remaining Keyblade wielders.
Sora, Donald, and Goofy, on the other hand, are busy in pursuit of the Seven Guardians of Light across myriad in the different worlds. All of this is being done in a passionate attempt to stop Master Xehanort's evil plan.
