'Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3' Latest Update: Prototype Footage Of The 'Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3' Has Released
The Star Wars universe is no stranger to missed opportunities and speculative what-ifs, especially in the realm of video games. However, the Star Wars universe just released the prototype footage of 'Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3'.
"Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" Bitter History
"Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" is a game that fans of the series were definitely looking forward to but it was a huge letdown when they announced it was canceled. Hence, it never even got as far off the ground as some other canceled Star Wars games of the past have, as reported by Cinelinx.
The "Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" also ended on something of a cliffhanger. The story ended where Darth Vader is captured and under the control of Starkiller, his clone apprentice.
"Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" Plot
"Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" is going to be a bigger story as we all know that Darth Vader will be out and free by the time of A New Hope. However, it never got the chance to finish.
"My long-term plan was to turn the franchise into more of an open world experience, and eventually introduce co-op play. I wanted to make games about two Force-wielders adventuring through the Star Wars universe together. I tried to keep that alive for an early treatment of TFU3," said LucastArts Creative Director Haden Blackman.
FanSided reported that the implication here is that one player could play as Starkiller while the other takes control of Vader. The possibilities are overwhelming as the players are able to go on separate missions during the story.
"Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" Prototype Footage Revealed
According to Star War Gaming, the credit has to go to "Corra_Ashu" for uploading the original footage of the "Star Wars The Force Unleashed 3" although it is not certain where that person originally got it either. It's still pretty cool to look at and it really gives us an idea of what this game could have been.
