Gaming News and Updates; Star Wars Battlefront 2 Enable You to Unlock Deluxe Edition by Simply Playing: Direct Access to Star Wars Included
Electronic Arts and DICE are likely to keep the most exciting information about "Star Wars Battlefront 2" secret until E3, the publisher and developer have provided a bit of good information already about the sci-fi shooter sequel.
Recently, "Star Wars Battlefront 2" game designer Christian Johannesén revealed on Twitter that gamers will be able to unlock all the content from the Deluxe Edition of the game just by playing it. When asked by a user whether the content and weapons in Battlefront II Deluxe Edition are exclusive to players who bought them or standard edition buyers will also be able to unlock them, to this Christian replied, "Can be unlocked by playing."
As per Gamepur, "Star Wars Battlefront 2" Deluxe Edition will give players direct access to Star Wars: The Last Jedi heroes, ship upgrades, early access to the game, multiple weapons, weapon modifications, abilities, and ability modifications. These items will be available to Deluxe Edition buyers straight away, whereas others will have to unlock them by playing.

The items included in the deluxe edition are presumably part of the "Battlefront 2" multiplayer modes, and not necessarily the campaign. While little has been shared about the game's single-player campaign, based on DICE and EA's history with shooter campaigns, gamers can expect a fairly straight-forward experience where weapons and abilities are limited based on a particular mission, Gamerant reports.

In the meantime, there's plenty to look forward to with "Battlefront 2". Along with the lessons EA and DICE have learned from 2015's "Star Wars Battlefront", players will be able to enjoy epic space battles, a compelling single-player campaign, couch co-op, and of course large multiplayer battles. However, while "Battlefront 2" will make use of the Frostbite 3 engine, it won't have destructible environments, unlike EA and DICE's Battlefield series.
