Gaming News and Updates: 'Call of Duty WW2' Fans Are Gonna Go Nuts With The Game’s Latest Reveal That Might Be Coming This Weekend

Each time we get closer to E3 2017, and which means that the companies are preparing the announcements of the games that will be presented in this show. One of them will definitely be the next "Call of Duty", known at this time as "Call of Duty: WW2". Well, if you're a fan of the series it's time for you to get excited, as it looks like the title will be revealed this weekend.

The Illuminati theory of speculation comes from NeoGAF, where a user gathered the words given by IGN members in GameScoope's most recent broadcast, who mentioned that at the end of this week there will be an important announcement that will tell what to talk about in the following days.

Nothing is known about the game except for some rumors that the game will be set in World War 2, which indicates that Activision has learned from its mistakes and is taking the "Call of Duty" franchise back to its roots. According to Sledgehammer Games, this year's "Call of Duty" is their best game yet and fans are "gonna go nuts."

Additionally, as more games adopt the open world concept for campaigns, hopefully, this will be an opportunity for "Call of Duty" to shed its linear-based campaign mold and offer something truly unique. Considering the lackluster sales the franchise has experienced year-over-year, it needs a significant change if it wants to survive in a growing competitive market, GameRant reports.

According to SegmentNext, "Call of Duty" is the long-running first-person shooter franchise published by Activision and "Call of Duty" 2017 is rumored to launch on November 3, 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
