LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Characters, Platforms Announced, Gameplay Feature Competitive & Cooperative Multiplayer

Marvel superheroes and villains come together once again for another epic battle using the LEGO environment in "LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2" video game. This upcoming video game will feature Marvel characters from different eras and realities, and will take place across the cosmic open hub world known as Chronopolis.

As posted on the official Marvel website, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, in partnership with game developer TT Games, The LEGO Group and Marvel Entertainment announced last May 15 "LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2". The second major installment of this upcoming Marvel video game will be available starting November 14, 2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC platforms while game availability on Nintendo Switch will be announced later.

Said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games, "With a completely original branching storyline, 'LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2' introduces amazing new gameplay features, including the ability for characters to manipulate time and a four-player competitive Super Hero battling mode. With a huge array of brand new characters from the Marvel Universe, including old favorites in new guises, this game is sure to thrill both LEGO and Marvel fans, as well as newcomers to the series."

As posted on YouTube, players will go head-to-head with time-traveling villain Kang the Conqueror where battle across Chronopolis will bring forth other locations like Ancient Egypt, The Old West, Sakaar and New York City in 2099. The characters on "LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2" include Thor, Hulk, members of the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, and dozens of other Marvel superheroes and villains.

Game developers and publishers guaranteed players that they will still feel the entertaining LEGO humor known for all ages. The upcoming "LEGO® Marvel Super Heroes 2" will feature a four-player multiplayer mode which can be played either as competitively or cooperatively as a team.
