UbiE3 Update: Ubisoft Announces UbiE3 Date; Games Coming Back This Year Revealed
Ubisoft has announced the UbiE3 release date. It is set to be held at the Orpheum Theatre on June 12, 2017. Here are the details.
Ubisoft Announced UbiE3 Date
Ubisoft posted on its official Twitter account and announced the upcoming UbiE3 date. It confirmed that the press conference will take place at the Orpheum Theatre on June 12, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time or 4:00 p.m. ET or 9:00 p.m. UK or 10:00 p.m. Europe just as expected.
Games Coming Back This Year Revealed
Ubisoft recently announced their financial results for the Fiscal Year (2017 to 2018). In the fiscal year 2017, their sales reached 1460 million euros with 5% Year over year (YOY). This was brought by some successful releases such as "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands," and "For Honor."
Meanwhile, FY 18 further earnings growth revealed a revenue reaching 1700 million euros, of which 170 million euros accounts for the first quarter with up 22% YOY. This will be brought by stronger new releases such as "Assassin's Creed," "Far Cry," "The Crew," and "The Fractured But Whole."
Hence, gamers will see the return of "Assassin's Creed," "Far Cry," and "The Crew," and the launch of "South Park: The Fractured but Whole." Ubisoft also confirmed that another four AAA titles will be released. This will go together with a brand new IP with strong live operation elements, Wccftech reports.
UbiE3 Game Revelations
The upcoming UbiE3 on June 12 will reveal several games. These include those due in the fiscal year covering April 1, 2017, to March 31, 2018.

According to VG247, the upcoming "Assassin's Creed" is expected to be set in Egypt and subtitled Empire. The "Far Cry 5" is expected to have a western setting. In the UbiE3, Ubisoft is also expected to discuss its support for the Nintendo Switch and other game releases such as "Mario and Rabbids RPG."
