'Pro Evolution Soccer' Update: 'Pro Evolution Soccer 2018' Released Date Confirmed
Every year, Konami graces us with a new entry in the "Pro Evolution Soccer" series, and this year will not be any different. The Japanese publisher recently confirmed when "Pro Evolution Soccer" 2018 will release on PC and consoles.
"Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" Released Date Confirmed
According to Forbes, "Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" will be released on September 12 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. Furthermore, Konami is looking to expand the quality and appeal of their product after another strong release last year.
The "Pro Evolution Soccer 2017" had the most realistic gameplay of the two major soccer simulations. However, it was slightly impeded by its lack of licenses and a few shallow features.
The licensing problem doesn't figure to improve drastically but it does appear that many of PES' modes will be more fleshed out. "Where Legends are Made" is this year's tagline and the new game will boast new features, an eSports friendly mode, and a PC version.
"Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" Details Revealed
WCCF Tech reported that one of the new features of the game will be called Real Touch +. This feature will allow players to "react to receiving a ball using permissible parts of the body, such as chest, head, and legs to bring a pass under control dependent on the height and pace of the incoming ball."
The "Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" has also been improved visually with a Real Capture system. It provides true-to-life lighting across the day and night games, while over 20,000 components have been faithfully recreated to recreate the turf, tunnels, and the surrounding areas of stadia such as Camp Nou and Signal Iduna Park."
The new REAL Capture system promises enhanced visuals as it pertains to environments and player likenesses. The "Pro Evolution Soccer 2018" teaser trailer also looks phenomenal as the full reveal trailer is due out on June 13.
