‘The Sims 4’ Updates: ‘Parenthood’ Gameplay Trailer To Unveil Punishment System, Low Parenting Skill Consequences
Members of "The Sims 4" community have been eagerly waiting for the release of the fifth game pack for Electronic Arts' life simulation gaming title. Given the recent unveiling of the said DLC's official clip, avid fans can look forward to learning more about "The Sims 4: Parenthood" game pack in an upcoming gameplay teaser.
"The Sims 4: Parenthood" game pack is expected to provide gamers with an enhanced gameplay experience specifically in influencing a toddler Sim's growth and development. With the said DLC focused on family activities and parenting, avid "The Sims 4" gamers can look forward to the addition of new interactions between Sim parents and their Sim children.
One of the new gameplay elements included in the upcoming "The Sims 4: Parenthood" DLC is a new set of parenting skills. The said 10 level skill will allow gamers to have their Sim parent characters better manage their Sim offspring as they grown into a young Sim adult.
Recently, a member of "The Sims 4" team shared in a Twitter Q&A session that an upcoming gameplay trailer for the upcoming DLC will unveil more details about the new skill, the consequences of poor parenting and the punishments that adult Sims can dole out to younger Sims. Despite not mentioning the release date for the said clip, SimGuruNinja stated that "The Sims 4: Parenthood" trailer will explain more about how the parenting skill works and what happens to young Sims who were left undisciplined by their Sim parents, Sims Community reported.
Moreover, the said member of "The Sims 4" team hinted during the Twitter Q&A session that parent Sims can tell their Sim children to do certain actions such as set the table, clean their rooms or do their homework depending on the level of their parenting skill, according to the fan site Sims VIP. Some of the parenting punishments included in "The Sims 4: Parenthood" DLC would be time-out instructions for bad behavior, grounding teen Sims for breaking a curfew and more.
"The Sims 4: Parenthood" game pack will be released on May 30 for PC and MAC.
