‘Injustice 2’ Gaming Tips: How To Unlock Free Brainiac
"Injustice 2" boasts of an impressive inventory of game characters from DC Comics' arsenal of superheroes and villains. Recently, gaming tips to unlock Brainiac for free was unveiled.
Game developer NetherRealm Studio's fighting video game "Injustice 2" gave avid fans of the said gaming franchise another interesting digital quest to complete. A sequel to the 2013 game "Injustice: Gods Among Us," the recently released title saw the return of iconic DC characters such as Superman, Batman, the Flash, Wonder Woman, Joker, Harley Quinn and more.
"Injustice 2" also featured the inclusion of new heroes and villainous characters such as Supergirl, Deadshot, Sub-Zero, Black Canary, Gorilla Grood, Poison Ivy and others. Most of the over 25 game characters can be played for free except for a few supervillains such as Brainiac.
Similar to Darkseid, "Injustice 2" gamers can opt to purchase the said character for $6. However, gaming tips posted on PlayStation Lifestyle identified another way for players to get Brainiac for free simply by playing through the game's story mode.
Gamers who successfully completed the story mode of "Injustice 2" will automatically unlock Brainiac. Moreover, players can get the powerful villain for free regardless if they choose one of the two possible endings for the said gaming title.
Meanwhile, a glitch in "Injustice 2" appears to be rolling back some of the gamers' progress. Some players highlighted how they suddenly found their favorite hero at a much lower level despite wearing a higher gear that gamers already unlocked.
The "Injustice 2" team at NetherRealm is said to be working on a fix to address the said bug, however, a quick gaming tip shared by the support team at WB Games, as posted on Kotaku, appears to have a work-around for the glitch. The said tip involves clearing the local cache of PS4 and Xbox One consoles by powering down the said gaming devices and waiting for 20 to 30 seconds before restarting the units.
"Injustice 2" was released on May 16 for the PS4, Xbox One, as well as for Android and iOS devices.
