Nintendo Switch Fits Perfectly With Highly Anticipated Fighting Game, ‘Arms’
A week ahead of its release, many game reviewers and enthusiasts believe that Nintendo's upcoming fighting video game called "Arms" was designed exactly the way Nintendo Switch should be. In fact, a number of them think that Nintendo Switch is the only gaming console for "Arms". And why not, both were products of Nintendo.
According to a latest review from Matt Peckham of Time, the upcoming game "Arms" is equally weird and wonderful, and this makes it a perfect match for Nintendo Switch. As Peckham wrote, "it's tennis-boxing inside a carnival wrapped in a learning curve that against practiced players feels steep, and yes, that sounds like something few would play," which him to the conclusion "why Nintendo calls it Arms."
Other game experts also agreed, "Arms" offers a fresh new experience of how games are supposed to be played. Some even have mixed feelings, yet one thing's for certain - "Arms" is very enjoyable to play.
Easy and Difficult in One Sentence
In an interview with Tech News World, Jurre Pannekeet, a senior market analyst at NewZoo said that the game centers around competition which is the center of the modern e-sports craze and the response could be strong.
Pannekeet suggested that "Arms" is a game relatively easy to understand and learn but very difficult to master. He noted one instance when he needs to throw a punch in an arching manner just to bypass the opponent's defense. This kind of punching move though it is as easy as it may sound is quite hard to throw.
"Arms" is scheduled for worldwide release this coming June 16, 2017 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. The game can be played by single or multiplayer. But while the game can be played online, many game reviewers believe it will bring fun and laughter playing in local multiplayer co-op up to four players. "Arms" is available for pre-order for only $59.99.
