The most familiar face on any PlayStation events added, "[Guerrilla Games head honcho] Herman Hulst has got a very keen mind on where he wants to take Horizon and what the roadmap is - and that roadmap is expressed in multiple years. "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds"
During the PlayStation E3 2017 media briefing, Sony has shown the first trailer of the first downloadable content (DLC) for "Horizon Zero Dawn" entitled "The Frozen Wilds". Based on the video presentation (watch trailer below), players will assume the role of Aloy. But what makes "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" look promising was a scene when a thundering growl could only come from the beast within the frozen wilds, scared even those robotic creatures known as the "machines".
In a recent interview with Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst as transferred by Gaming Bolt, he described the upcoming "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" DLC as "very chunky". Hulst also answered the questions many players would like to hear, that the next DLC will bring them in a new territory, a new realm.
Describing where the game will take place, Hulst shared that the DLC will take place somewhere across the northern mountain range and into the territory of the tribespeople known as the Banuk. Hulst added that these Banuk characters are very hardy, particularly affected by the location where they lived.
While Hulst was unable to name specifics like the length of the game, the main story and objectives, he promised that the "Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds" DLC is a good sized map. Hulst teased that there will be plenty of new stuff, new challenges, new settlements and new weapons.
