Jailbreak iOS 10.3.1/10.3.2: Last Place of JB Tool Hope is MOSEC 2017
Where is the jailbreak tool for iOS 10.3.1 or even the latest iOS 10.3.2? If rumors back in April are true, a new jailbreak tool should be downloadable by now. Still, there is no news coming from Pangu, the hacker team which is "supposed" to release the next jailbreak tool. But the jailbreak community still has something to look forward to - MOSEC 2017.
Only Jailbreak Tool for iOS 10.1.1 is Available
Luca Todesco, along with inputs from other sources, Mach_Portal + Yalu, remains to be the sole jailbreak tool for iOS 10.x. However, this only targets 10.1.1 and is a semi tethered jailbreak tool which means you needs to jailbreak again if the device got rebooted. The good thing is that this Mach_Portal + Yalu jailbreak tool now covers iPhone 7. This jailbreak tool can be downloaded on Yalu.
The problem is for those who have already upgraded their iOS to the latest versions past iOS 10.1.1. While there are a good number of those who has yet to upgrade their iOS version, upgrading to the latest iOS versions is also considered to be a good thing considering that there were number of jailbreak tweaks now turning into an Apple app available at App store.
Apple is a Client of Pangu
There was also this rumor that Apple might have hired the services of Pangu Lab, the legitimate corporate entity founded by members of hacker team Pangu. According to 1RedDrop, "Apple Inc. is possibly one of those clients, and multiple sources suggest that Pangu was paid a huge sum of money to NOT release the jailbreak for iOS 10.3.1 - to the tune of $1.25 million, in fact."
Accessing Cydia without Jailbreaking
Then there's zJailbreak which allows Apple device users to access app stores like Cydia, DreamStore, Googios, YIV, and Tweakbox among other app stores. As iSportsTimes recently reported, zJailbreak works even without root iOS; thus, it can be installed like a usual app on your Apple device.
If there is but one thing that the jailbreak community places their hopes to see a new jailbreak tool, it could be at the Mobile Security Conference (MOSEC) which is scheduled this coming Friday, June 23, 2017. Remember, Pangu released their last jailbreak at MOSEC 2016.
