Boston Celtics Rumors: Avery Bradley Ready to Be Included in an NBA Trade
In the latest Boston Celtics rumors, it appears one of the team's best players is prepared to leave Beantown anytime. Guard Avery Bradley, arguably Boston's best defender, recently shared his thoughts when it comes to trade talks and his readiness to go if he gets dealt.
Speaking to Comcast Sports Network New England, Bradley said he is not worried about trade rumors. The 26-year-old understands that he has no control over these things.
Bradley is ready in case Boston decides to deal him away. He knows the Celtics aim to get better and to achieve this goal will do everything, which may soon include trading him.
"I don't worry about it. I know that was the case and I get traded, the Celtics are going to do what's best for them and I'm going to have to do what's best for me if I'm put in a different situation," Bradley stated.
In this year's offseason, Bradley's name is again frequently mentioned in NBA trade discussions. A lot of fans see him as a valuable asset for Boston rather than an untouchable player.
The most recent NBA trade rumor Bradley was a part of would have seen him join the Chicago Bulls. It was a suggested exchange in which the Celtics were getting Jimmy Butler. This deal is now impossible with Butler already a part of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Boston's plans for Bradley are unknown, although it is likely that the franchise is keeping him. As mentioned, he is the Celtics' top defender and is a crucial piece to the success they are currently experiencing.
Boston finally returned to the Eastern Conference Finals in the 2016-17 NBA season. The Celtics were the only team in the East that defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in the playoffs. Sadly, they were unable to display their full potential with Isaiah Thomas sidelined due to an injury.
