‘LawBreakers’ on Xbox One X Possible, Says Lead Designer
Developed under the codename, "Blue Streak", "LawBreakers" is currently available as Open Beta on PC while the game's full version is scheduled for release this coming August 8 both on Windows PC and PlayStation 4. Speaking of PC and PS4, many Xbox players are asking why game developer Boss Key Productions did not create an Xbox One or even Xbox One X version of the game.
"LawBreakers" on Xbox Coming Soon
In an interview with Segment Next, Dan Nanni who works as Lead Designer at Boss Key answered some questions surrounding their upcoming first-person video game called "LawBreakers". And according to Nanni, having an Xbox release is one of the plans though it has not been started for now.
"Our goal is to get LawBreakers into as many hands as possible within the constraints of our studio's size," Nanni said. "We're not biased for or against any platform. As long as supporting platforms like the Xbox One X makes business sense, and we have the time and the right people to get the job done, I don't see why it wouldn't be an option for us."
Join "LawBreakers" Open Beta
As mentioned earlier, "LawBreakers" is currently available as Open Beta for PC players. The game will be available only until July 5th though there is no update if there will be an extension. For those who wanted to join and experience "LawBreakers", visit their page at Steam.
According to WCCFTech, the "LawBreakers" Open Beta will feature a map called "Vertigo" which is located in a remote location in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Vertigo is strategic, with a high-altitude reconnaissance outpost with near suborbital elevation.
Players get the chance to test a customization feature that will earn them a special Beta participant Weapon Sticker after completing five matches during the event. All rewards gained during the Open Beta will be carried over once the game is officially launched.
