‘WWE 2K18’ News Updates, Release Dates: Get to Know the All-New MyPLAYER Mode
If "WWE 2K17" has received many negative criticisms, getting poor scores from game reviewers and critics; this October, many things will change when 2K Sports together with game developers Yuke's and Visual Concepts release "WWE 2K18". In addition, the game developers will provide the latest updates including behind-the-scenes during the development of "WWE 2K17 starting this July 13 on their official website.
Visual Concepts executive producer Mark Little recently discussed the plans they have for "WWE 2K18" which he described will have a complete and visually impressive WWE experience for everyone to enjoy as posted on WWE 2K official page. The game developer's executive producer teased that "WWE 2K18" will be the most comprehensive and most realistic WWE game to date.
"All of these feature additions and improvements are only made better by the largest roster in WWE gaming history," Little wrote. He added, "We are excited to share the roster for this year's game soon, but for now, our recent announcement of WWE Hall of Famer and current Raw General Manager, Kurt Angle, as the game's pre-order bonus is a sign of the good things to come with the roster."
The New MyPLAYER Experience
The game developer executive producer boasts of the latest gameplay experience they have brought into "WWE 2K18", the new MyPLAYER mode. Here, will be able to create their own wrestler, even choose from eight different fighting styles, its strengths and weaknesses.
With the new MyPLAYER mode, a brand new MyCAREER experience will also be incorporated to support the new story of your player. You can create your own WWE superstar's story by interacting with other WWE Superstars to create a different narrative.
What's more, you can use your own WWE superstar created using MyPLAYER to compete in the all-new Road to Glory Mode. More information will be released about this new mode but for teasers, the Road to Glory Mode will be the stepping stone for upcoming WWE wrestlers (created using MyPLAYER) to compete against others in a quest to qualify for WWE pay-per-view events.
United States Champion Kevin Owens on 2K Mistakes
Meanwhile, more and more WWE superstars are reacting on why 2K Sports chose Seth Rollins as the cover of "WWE 2K18". One of them is the current United States Champion Kevin Owens:
"I may appear upset, but I'm not. You know why? Because, look, people make mistakes and the 2K crew made a mistake," Owens said as posted on the WWE 2K video. He added, "They've made a mistake two years ago, they made a mistake last year, they made a mistake this year but that's OK because one day, they'll see the light. One day they'll get it right. One day, it's going to be WWE 2KO, and then everything will be right in the world."
