2017 'The Sims 4' Update: Skin Tone & Custom Contents For Black Sims Now Available; How To Gain Access Revealed
It has long been a requested for several "The Sims" players to have more diversity for skin tone. With this, YouTube content creator Amira has made the Melanin Skin tone for Black Sims ahead of "The Sims 4" official content update.
"The Sims" Skin Tone Diversity
In different "The Sims" games, "The Sims" players can only select a specific base skin color for their Sims and only adjust the shade after. There were no skin tones that will represent "The Sims" players with darker skin tone or the community they belong to. "The Sims 4" also lacks skin features, details and options. With this, "The Sims" players have asked for more contents.
In response, SimGuruMegs has posted on her official Twitter account and asked "The Sims" players for their feedbacks. She has asked what specific skin tone and details that players want to be included in "The Sims 4." Some of the requests include skin tone for Asian Sims, pale Sims, and black Sims. They have also asked for more face features including wrinkles, redness, body and face hair, moles, and birthmarks.

YouTube content creator Amira has taken a move ahead of "The Sims 4" official content update. She has created a website called The Black Simmer, which already has 16000 members. Together, they create customized skin tones for different "The Sims" players. To allow Black Simmers to finally get the skin tone that would represent them, they have created the Melanin Skin Tone Pack. "The Sims 4" players can just register on The Black Simmer website and download the skin tone, Sims Community reports.
