Marouane Fellaini made headlines when he opined that he may not be with the Everton forever -- perhaps not even past next January -- and now the rumors are starting to fly some more with speculations that the big clubs, namely Manchester United and Chelsea, are both looking to recruit the midfielder.

After a great performance last week against the Red Devils at Goodison Park, Fellaini has been on the minds of the Manchester management, according to reports. The Man U guys are hoping the promise of more freedom to attack could be enticing enough to lure the 24-year-old, 6'4 football star.

I mean, the Manchester United sure need help in the midfield. Their best player in that position is Paul Scholes, and he, to put it mildly, sucks. Manchester United knows this too. They would love to have Fellaini's scoring ability.

As for Chelsea, they have plenty of talent up front, but are lacking in the middle as well. John Obi Mikel and Frank Lampard just don't make a very impressive midfield duo, and although there's the option of Oscar on the bench, Chelsea always seem like a club looking to bring in someone new.

Rumours are circulating that Chelsea are willing to pay up to £30 million to for Fellaini's services.

Although Fellaini has sort of backed away from his comments that he may leave Everton, the rumours are circulating anyway because once you've made your comments public, you can't take it back. And then there's his Facebook page, which says he loves living in Liverpool.

Hmmm. It shall be an interesting season for all involved.
