The latest NFL rumor being tossed around the internet should not come as too much of a surprise to anyone who has been following the Carolina Panthers and quarterback Cam Newton lately.

Following the Carolina Panthers' loss to the New York Giants on Thursday, September 20th, Cam Newton was seen sulking on the sidelines like a little baby who just had his binky taken away for the first time. After that happened, veteran wide receiver and teammate Steve Smith publicly called out Newton and told him to grow up. Newton then promised to be the best leader he can be, but that sure doesn't seem to be the case.

"Cam Newton held up team buses for long time while sitting in locker room alone and setting record most lotion applied post shower," Werder tweeted. "Cam Newton also walked off while questions still being asked by people waiting forever. Gisele wasn't that upset after losing Super Bowl."

Newton has had a horrible start to the 2012 NFL season, but everyone is willing for forgive him for his poor play on the football field. After all, he would not be the first quarterback in NFL history to suffer a sophomore slump. However, his cry baby antics are inexcusable and a huge reason for concern if you are a fan of the Carolina Panthers.

Cam Newton needs to grow up and be a man, or he may end up having a short career in the NFL regardless of how much talent he undeniable has. It is time for him to grow up and put on his big boy pants.
