The No. 13 Oklahoma Sooners head into this game with three wins and only one loss through the first four games of their 2012 college football season. The Sooners have recorded wins over the UTEP Minors, the Florida A&M Rattlers and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Their one and only loss thus far came at the hands of the Kansas State Wildcats on Sept. 22.

The No. 15 Texas Longhorns head into this matchup with four wins and one loss on the season. Their wins are over the Wyoming Cowboys, the New Mexico Lobos, the Ole Miss Rebels and the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Their one and only loss of the season thus far came last Saturday when they lost a very close game to the West Virginia Mountaineers on their home field.

It will be interesting to see just how much energy the Texas Longhorns are able to play with in this rivalry game. They expended so much energy against West Virginia last Saturday, it would be understandable if the players are tired and in dire need of a bye week.

According to the odds makers, the Oklahoma Sooners will head into this game as three point favorites to defeat the Texas Longhorns. However, we could see this game going either way considering it is a big rivalry game and both teams are very familiar with one another. It should be a great game for the fans.
